- Excluding (Spouses, Holder of power of Attorney, Representative payee and Legal Guardian )
- Commonly hired family members include adult children, siblings, and extended relatives.

- Family members can provide services like Personal Assistance Services (PAS), including help with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and transportation.
- They must perform their duties professionally and adhere to the agency’s policies and care plan requirements.
Pre-Employment Requirements for Family Members
To work as a caregiver for Blue Diamond Home Care, family members must meet PA Adult Services Pre-Employment Requirements, which typically include:

Background Checks:
- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check.
- Child Abuse Clearance
- FBI Background Check

Health Screenings:
- Tuberculosis (TB) test with negative results

Training:
- Completion of In House mandatory caregiver training and understanding of care plans.
